SPRING IS HERE! SPRING IS HERE!

It’s a beautiful day outside, birds singing, flowers blooming.
On days like these students like us should be sitting outside soaking up the sunshine!
Happy Spring Break! Regular posts return next week 🙂

Did you know that I studied abroad? Do you want to hear more about it than I can fit into a singular blog post? Follow the Warrior’s Abroad podcast linked here to hear me talk about my experiences in their April 1st episode!
[Your regularly scheduled Main Post will be posted on Thursday!]
See! I told you you would miss me! Oh sweet prodigal reader, we have returned to each other, and it is a glorious reunion indeed!
Since I was on break over Winter, allow me to first and foremost welcome you into the New Year, and acknowledge that 2021, like every year, is going to be hard, fun, opportunistic, heavy, and every emotion in between.
But together, we can kick 2021’s patootie, have an excellent semester, and learn how to make a truly killer Gallo Pinto.
(Or maybe that last one’s just me)
Tune in for the return of regular posts starting Tuesday February 2nd!
Hello everyone! I hope that everyone who celebrates it had a safe and lovely Thanksgiving. Regular posts will pick up again next week but for now, please bask in THE GLORY OF MY PECAN PIE that finally came out perfect after 3 years of over and underbaking!!
I hope that everyone had an excellent Halloween or Harvest Celebration despite the circumstances!
My family got together and carved pumpkins, and then with some modifications for safety, socially distanced our Halloween by hanging out on the roof and tossing “Sky Candy” to any willing trick-or-treaters that came our way.
Oh and our pumpkins had a theme this year… can you guess which one I carved?
